Hongshan Feng is a contemporary female artist and fashion designer from Hangzhou, China. She currently lives in New York City and is majoring in fashion design at Parsons School of Design. She grew up in a culturally rich environment, which inspired her strong interest in the beauty of nature, oriental aesthetics, and historical exploration.

Hongshan combines traditional ink painting with new media to explore the history of oriental and Chinese art through architecture, murals, paintings, and sculptures. From a female perspective, the artist focuses on the intersection of history, culture, and identity and participates in the dialogue of intangible cultural heritage through media such as sculpture, fashion, video, and mix-media. Hongshan's work questions and redefines the narrative about the role of women, weaving personal and collective stories that reflect oriental aesthetics, cultural history, and identity. By connecting tradition and modernity, the artist hopes that the audience will rethink the changes in culture and the role of women in society and trigger a dialogue about identity and inheritance.
